RESULTS: RUTHLESS 2010

Last night, FCE held Ruthless 2010 at the Sundance Saloon in Waukegan, IL. The venue was packed with many fans, especially the ones who came out to support all the local fighters from Gurnee, Waukegan, Highwood and many others. 
 
Fans saw the crowning of a the new FCE Bantamweight Champion, Pedro Velasco. Rachel Smith and Liz Roig, our two female fighters definitely put on a great show as they went the distance. 
 
Team Ramrod, one of the local teams was one of many that rocked the house at the Sundance Saloon. Other teams also present were: Hackney's MMA, Airwolf Martial Arts, South Side Dojo, Team Kamakazi, Victory Martial Arts and a few independent fighters.
 
The following are the results of the night: 
 
1. John Lovejoy (Team Kamakazi) vs. Juan Zenzero (Team Ramrod)
Winner: Zenzero won by TKO in 1:11 of the 1st Round, due to Strikes.
 
2. Jeff Clark vs. Andy Kaine
Winner: Jeff Clark won as a result of Kaine's forfeit.
 
3. Tyler Badali (Victory Martial Arts) vs. Brit Frankel (Airwolf Martial Arts)
Winner: Frankel wins by TKO in :43 of the 1st Round, due to Strikes.
 
4. Mathew Pulley vs. Quinton Sanders (Team Ramrod)
Winner: Pulley wins by Submission in 1:09 of the 1st Round, due to a Rear Naked Choke.
 
5. Daniel Cresnowski (Team Kamakazi) vs. Joey Sydeow (Team Ramrod)
Winner: Sydeow wins by Submission in :33 seconds in the 1st Round, due to a Guillotine Choke.
 
6. Anthony Woodall vs. Jeff Lavalle
Winner: Lavalle wins by Submission in 1:12 of the 1st Round, due a Rear Naked Choke. 
 
7. Dan Mueller (Independent) vs. Robert Lee (Team Ramrod) 
Winner: Lee wins by Submission in 2:03 of the 1st Round, due to a Guillotine Choke.
 
8. Jason Montez (Team Rough Dog) vs. Patrick Fish (Independent)
Winner: Montez wins by Submission in :38 seconds of the 1st Round, due to an Arm Bar.
 
9. Matt Bollis (Team Funk) vs. Edgar Velasco (Team Ramrod)
Winner: Velasco wins by TKO in 2:35 of the 1st Round, due to Strikes.
 
10. Chris Hayden (Team Thump) vs. Cory Forshaw (Team Ramrod)
Winner: Forshaw wins by TKO in 2:01 of the 1st Round, due to Strikes.
 
11. Chad Nagy vs. Aderlin Lopez (Team Ramrod)
Winner: Nagy wins by TKO in :30 seconds of the 1st Round, due to Strikes.
 
12. Rachel Smith (South Side Dojo) vs. Liz Roig (Hackney's Combat)
Winner: After 3 Rounds, Smith wins by Unanimous Decision: 30-27.
 
13. Camron Monyelle vs. Aki Matsuda
Winner: Matsuda wins by Submission in :48 seconds of the 3rd Round, due to a Choke.
 
14. Matt Mark (Victory Martial Arts) vs. Javier Vega (Hackney's MMA)
Winner: After 3 Rounds, Vega wins Split Decision: 30-28, 30-28, 30-27.
 
15. Chris Flach vs. Jordan Yunis (Team Ramrod)
Winner: Yunis wins by Submission in 1:29 of the 2nd Round, due to a Guillotine Choke.
