Aki Matsuda, a member of Team Airwolf/Ramrod fought against Camron Monyelle.

This fight definitely tested both fighters on their ground skills and endurance, since the fight was fought on the ground for the most part.

In :48 seconds of the 3rd Round, Matsuda caught Monyelle in a Choke and defeated him by Submission.

TEAM RAMROD'S- EDGAR VELASCO GAINS TKO VICTORY IN 1ST ROUND

Pedro Velasco, a member of Team Ramrod made his FCE debut at Ruthless in Waukegan, IL when he fought against Matt Bollis, a member of Team Funk. 

Besides being teammates, Edgar is also the brother of the new FCE Bantamweight Champion, Pedro Velasco.

This was also a quick fight and although Bollis tried his best to get the advantage, Velasco was pretty much the aggressor. Velasco won the fight after the referee stopped the fight in 2:35 of the 1st Round, due to Strikes.

As people can now see, MMA is not only a sport for men and at Ruthless, FCE proved it by having these two great fighters face off.
 

Rachael Smith, a member of South Side Dojo fought against Hackney's Combat, Elizabeth Roig. 
 
 

This was definitely one of the most interesting fights of the night, some fan's went as far as saying that it was better than some of the guy fights.

PEDRO VELASCO- NEW FCE BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION

NEW CHAMPION

 

In the Main Event of the night, Pedro Velasco, a member of Team Ramrod out of Gurnee, IL fought against Dimitrius Williams, a member of Team Top Notch/Carlson Gracie.

At Ruthless, the fight was scheduled for five, 3 minute Rounds and the winner would become the FCE Bantamweight Champion.

Both fighters put on a good performance on their previous FCE fight and both also came out victorious over their opponents.

Last night, FCE held Ruthless 2010 at the Sundance Saloon in Waukegan, IL. The venue was packed with many fans, especially the ones who came out to support all the local fighters from Gurnee, Waukegan, Highwood and many others. 
 
Fans saw the crowning of a the new FCE Bantamweight Champion, Pedro Velasco. Rachel Smith and Liz Roig, our two female fighters definitely put on a great show as they went the distance. 
 
Team Ramrod, one of the local teams was one of many that rocked the house at the Sundance Saloon.

Aderlin Lopez, a member of Team Ramrod will be fighting at Ruthless once again, in Waukegan, which is near his hometown.

Lopez said that his training has been going really well. 

"I've been training a lot, lifting more weights and I'm definitely in way better shape, my cardio is up and I'm stronger," said Lopez.

Glowing with excitement, Lopez said, "This is my hometown, I have family, friends and a whole bunch of people coming to see me. It's definitely a big show for me."

Pedro Velasco, a member of Team Ramrod out of Gurnee, IL will get a title shot tomorrow when he fights against Dimitrius Williams, a member of Team Top Notch/Carlson Gracie.

The showdown will take place at FCE's Ruthless at the Sundance Saloon in Waukegan, IL.
