With FCE signing an exclusive agreement with the Genesis Convention Center in Gary, IN, the 2008 Team Fighting Challenge will kick off the 1st round on October 4th in front of a planned 4,000 people. "Whether you came out to an FCE event the first time or never been to one, this is the one you want to be at.  This venue is the best venue that FCE has ever hosted an event." co-owner Brian Angelo. Plans fo the July 31st show "SACRIFICE" is in the "Indiana Hall" within the Genesis Arena which holds 800-1000 spectators.

Many of FCE's fans and fighters come from all over the Midwest to see the best in MMA Action in the Chicago Land area. Now, FCE expands their way into Gary, IN and people can't stop talking about it.

Another Mokena,IL -based school looks to have their fighters return to the cage on July 31st from JBMA Mixed Martial Arts. "I have said it before, I like FCE's venues, their production and the way they treat the fighters. If FCE goes into Inidana, we (JBMA) are going to follow." Sifu Boun

Matt Dillon Defeats Mike Crabbe

In the first fight of the event, Matt Dillon, a member of Team Colon battled it out with Mike Crabbe, a member of Team Red Branch.

Crabbe, fighting out of Marseilles, IL said that he feels that he is being overweighed and thinks he should go down to the 125 weight class.

Although most of this fight was on the ground, Dillon gave Crabbe a set of strikes to the ribs.

Dillon's experience includes high school wrestling, MMA training for 2 years and later coached wrestling for 14 years.

FCE DEBUTS "REGGIE BROWN VS. FLAMUR PNISHI" FIGHT OF THE NIGHT

In a night of unbelievable fights, Reggie Brown and Flamur Pnishi stole the show with what some have claimed to be the "Fight of the Year" and possibly the best fight that FCE has put on yet...  Both Brown and Pnishi were making their FCE debut as they looked to make a statement in the 135lb division, and they did.  Although an undefeated Brown won with a unanimous decision, it was an all out war. With such a great fight, it was easy to call this WEED ST.

Dillon defeats Crabbe in 1:23 of the 2nd Round, due to a Tap Out.

 

2. Reginald Brown vs. Flamur Pnishi

Winner: Reginald Brown

Brown defeats Pnishi after 3 Rounds of fighting, by Unanimous Decision.

Winner: Phil Hunter

Hunter defeats Wojtulewicz after 3 Rounds of fighting, by Split Decision.
